Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 3, 2026
Plain English Summary: We collect only what we need to run Steadily. Your plan text is processed by AI to generate tasks. We don't sell your data. We don't share your data across other Deliberately Works products unless you explicitly link your accounts. You can delete your account anytime.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the Service: Generate AI-powered task plans from your project descriptions
- Manage Your Account: Handle registration, login, password reset, and email verification
- Save Your Plans: Store your plans so you can access them later (if logged in)
- Improve Steadily: Analyze usage patterns to make the product better
- Communicate: Send account-related emails (verification, password reset)
- Ensure Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats
4. Data Isolation Across Deliberately Works Products
Your data stays in Steadily. Deliberately Works, LLC operates multiple products. Your Steadily data is never shared with or accessible to our other products unless you explicitly choose to link your accounts.
Steadily is one of several products operated by Deliberately Works, LLC. We believe your data belongs to you, and each product should earn your trust independently. Here's how that works:
- Separate by default: Your Steadily account, plans, and activity are completely separate from any other Deliberately Works product. We do not combine, cross-reference, or share your data across products.
- Link only if you choose to: In the future, you may have the option to link your accounts across Deliberately Works products (for example, to get a multi-product discount or to share data between services). This will only happen if you explicitly opt in.
- Clear consent: If you choose to link accounts, we will clearly explain what data will be shared and why before you confirm. You can unlink at any time.
- No surprises: Creating an account on one Deliberately Works product does not automatically create accounts on other products, and does not give other products access to your data.
5. AI Processing and Third-Party Services
Important: To generate your task plans, we send your project description text to OpenAI's API. This means your plan input is processed by OpenAI's systems.
We use the following third-party services:
| Service | Purpose | Data Shared |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | AI plan generation | Your project description text (to generate tasks) |
| SendGrid | Email delivery | Email address (for account verification and password reset) |
| Google Analytics 4 | Aggregate traffic analysis | Anonymous usage data, device info, geographic region (see Section 8.2) |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Payment method details (if you choose to support us or subscribe to a paid plan). We never see or store your full card number. |
We recommend you:
- Do not include sensitive personal information (health data, financial details, passwords) in your plan descriptions
- Review OpenAI's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data
